TV Tech Global launches!
TV Technology Europe makes its transition to a new global brand today
Today we're delighted to launch TV TECH GLOBAL!
Responding to the TV technology industry's need for a truly global trade publication, one which approaches TV as a single media ecosystem in which everyone participates, we've moved beyond Europe and out into the world.
We'll be covering the cutting edge of media tech in South Korea and the building of streaming mobile services in Sub-Sarahan Africa. We'll look at the challenges to regional broadcasters in South America and the explosion of YouTube channels in the Middle East.
TV Tech Global will publish a bi-monthly digital magazine (alas, yes, that means TV Technology Europe magazine subscribers have had their last home delivery). The new mag will be delivered to you via email announcement every two months and will also be on the website alongside our library of TV Technology Europe back issues. Subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you receive it.
Our magazine will continue many of your favourite features from TV Technology Europe, including our "Sharpshooter" interviews with cinematographers and our "Making The Grade" series on colourists and grading. We'll also continue our popular equipment reviews and buyers guides.
New in each issue will be a region focus. We're starting out with Europe - not surprisingly - but then we'll move on to Latin America in March/April issue and the Middle East in May/June.
We'll also be looking to visit a wider variety of trade shows. Of course we'll continue our yearly appearance at the IBC show in Amsterdam and NAB, but we look forward to seeing you at Broadcast Asia, CABSAT and the countless other global confabs.
Taking in the wider world means we're going to meet a lot more of you! And we can't wait! Contact us any time with ideas for stories or for events, to let us know what your special concerns or issues are or what you'd like to see us delve into more deeply, or just to let us know what's going on in your corner of the globe.
See you around the world!
