Indonesian newscaster Metro TV gets workflow upgrade
The new Dalet workflow will include the new Dalet Social Media panel
Jakarta based 24/7 newscaster Metro TV has upgraded its operations to a new HD workflow from Dalet Digital Media Systems.
The newly installed Dalet Galaxy platform will unify Metro TV's operations from content acquisition and production to multi-platform distribution and archiving. The new workflow includes one-click social media publishing, and business intelligence reporting which measures the performance of the facility and crews, and target audience media consumption across traditional and social media channels.
The Metro TV installation includes Dalet Galaxy native NRCS (Newsroom Computer System) modules, Dalet WebSpace and Dalet On-the-Go for remote news production and team collaboration, Dalet OneCut multimedia desktop editor and Dalet Xtend for integration of Adobe Premiere Pro. The installation will also include Dalet's new Social Media panel for native social media curation and distribution. Content ingest and playout will be managed entirely by Dalet Brio video servers.
Dalet Galaxy Media Asset Management (MAM) at the core of Metro TV, will manage and centralise all content and offer on the front end a suite of purpose-built tools to cover ingest, story assignment, creation and review/approval processes, editing of packages, rundown management, studio and continuity automation, multi-platform distribution, archiving, and business reporting.
Dalet APIs will allow integration with the existing Metro TV CRM as and third-party broadcast solutions, including Vizrt for graphics and Quantum for production and archive storage.
