The Facilis Hub Server uses a new architecture to optimise drive sets and increase the bandwidth available from standard TerraBlock storage systems

Facilis will be releasing an update of its Facilis Hub Server, a performance aggregator that can be added to new and existing TerraBlock systems. Also announced as part of TerraBlock version 7 is a new browser-based, mobile compatible Web Console that delivers enhanced workflow and administration from any connected location.

The company says that the Facilis Hub Server uses a new architecture to optimise drive sets and increase the bandwidth available from standard TerraBlock storage systems. New customers will benefit from customised Hub Server Stacks with enhanced system redundancy and data resiliency; all while delivering near-linear scalability of bandwidth when expanding the network.

Additonally, Facilis’s new Web Console aims to increase the efficiency of administrative tasks, and improve the end-user experience. The browser-based and mobile-compatible interface aims to deliver enhanced functionality.

“The Web Console is a modernised interface that enables new features that our customers have been looking for, and some they didn’t know was possible,” said James McKenna, VP of marketing & pre-sales at Facilis Technology. "It also enables improved scalability up to an unlimited number of clients and user accounts.”

The TerraBlock 7 system also comes with the Facilis's FastTracker asset managment software.
