Broadcasters are looking at faster and more cost effective ways to get channels on air, so IP infrastructure and automated workflows will be a big talking point at the show this year.
What will your company be highlighting at IBC?
Starfish will feature its next-generation TS Splicer, which combines multiple-channel, frame-accurate transport stream splicing with media storage and SCTE 35 opt-out signal decoding. TS Splicer runs on generic, enterprise-grade hardware and provides simultaneous splicing of more than 20 HD video services on a single sever. Also the TS Switch, which is designed for a range of transport stream switching applications.
