What is your goal for this year’s IBC show?
To learn and develop my skills whilst helping Suitcase TV reach out to as many future clients as possible.
What will be the big tech trends at this year’s IBC?
Live broadcast over IP with remote control. 4K/8K is always going to be popular.
What piece of gear/software/platform do you wish someone would make?
It’s difficult to think of anything that hasn’t already been done. I think further advancements in VR would be cool but at a more affordable price.
What’s your fondest IBC/Amsterdam memory?
The stress of preparing for IBC after joining Suitcase TV the week before the show started. There were many late nights that week but it was very much worth it to see the outcome of the stand. Also, jumping in the deep end and speaking to customers on the stand that year with two days’ worth of knowledge of the products on show.
Can you speak Dutch?
I struggle enough with English sometimes!
