Flying

What is your goal for this year’s IBC show?

We will be demonstrating our latest range of professional monitors that provide filmmakers with colour accuracy and features that they can depend on. Our goal is to show how our displays can make their workflow easier and save them valuable time and money.

What will be the big tech trends at this year’s IBC?

I believe that USB-C compatible hardware will be very much a key topic. Higher resolution requirements are also becoming more sought after, so I expect to see a lot of buzz around 6K and 8K technology. HDR is also being integrated into a lot more technology, so I expect that there will be many manufacturers demonstrating that capability. I also expect high end video cameras to become even smaller to cater for the rising demand of drones in filmmaking.

What gear/software/platform do you wish someone would make?

I’m looking forward to a new calibration solution for monitors, as continuing to improve colour accuracy performance for our monitor is critical.

What’s your fondest IBC/Amsterdam memory?

Last year was our first time exhibiting at IBC, we had a small pod in the Launch Pad area and although we had very little stand space we were overwhelmed by the interest from visitors. This year we’re back, only bigger and better!!

Can you speak Dutch?

No
