Stryme intros new gear for monitoring and distribution
The new products will be debuted at IBC2017 in Amsterdam
Vienna-based broadcast tech company Stryme will be releasing three new major products - Genesix V8, Brodstar and Tubicon.
Version 8 of Stryme's Genesex VideoServer features 16 channels in 2 rack units, EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 loudness normalisation, and IP to simplify infrastructure needs by supporting mulitple protocols with four video inputs/outputs over 10 GbE. Genesix V8 also includes Transfer While Capture and Edit While Capture features for simultaneous and frame-accurate multi-cam ingest.
The company's Brodstar (pictured above) programme distribution monitoring features a fully automated, real-time analysing tool with compliance recording and logging. The 24/7 multi-channel monitoring tool allows users to compare and adjust delays and time lags.
The Tubicon cloud-based broadcasting platform claims one-click on-air publishing of online channels. The company describes Tubicon as a light and lean way to simply set up an online channel on YouTube or other social media for live streaming or pre-programmed content that is perfect for start ups.
