An HDR Jungle Book at IBC Movie Night
IBC's annual Saturday Night at the Movies will feature Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book in a special HDR version
Each year the crowds at IBC unwind on a Saturday night with an unparalleled theatrical presentation, usually showcasing exhibition technology at the cutting edge.
This year's IBC Big Screen Experience in the RAI Auditorium will feature The Jungle Book in a special new high dynamic range version. The screening will feature Dolby Vision laser projection on a specially made Harkness screen with Dolby Atmos immersive audio via the QSC sound system.
The Jungle Book retells Rudyard Kipling's classic tale of a boy raised in the Indian jungle by animal companions and, despite the film's huge scope and realism, was shot entirely on an L.A. soundstage.
The Jungle Book screening is open to all IBC visitors and starts at 18:30 on Saturday, 10 Sept. Doors open at 18:15.
