Joymechanix will be debuting a new winch-free cord-flying 3D camera system

A brand-new member of the JOYmechanix product family, Manta Ray, is to be showcased for the first time ever, at IBC2016.

Manta Ray is a winch-free cord-flying 3D camera system. The company has claimed it to be the first easily portable system of this type on the market. Manta Ray is aimed at all areas of filming, focusing on both user convenience and professional quality, said the company.

JOYmechanix, entering its third year exhibiting at the show, is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative equipment for television. Its product line covers 3D, 2D and 1D robotic camera motion systems on cords and gyro stabilised 3-Axis pan-tilt heads.

All its equipment is based on the plug and play ideology, which it said makes for convenience in mounting, operation and maintenance.
